Debut of Realme Watch 2 Pro: smartwatch with GPS and 14-day autonomy

In April, Chinese brand Realme, which is rapidly gaining popularity, presented its smartwatch Realme Watch 2. And now it announced the Pro version of the smartwatch.

In many ways, the Realme Watch 2 Pro is similar to the original model, but at the same time it has a large 1.75-inch display with a resolution of 385 by 320 pixels, a refresh rate of 30 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Another key difference to the Pro version is the battery. If the original Realme Watch 2 is equipped with a 315 mAh battery, which provides it with an autonomy of 12 days, then the Realme Watch 2 Pro has a 390 mAh battery, thanks to which, according to the manufacturer, the watch can work without recharging for up to two weeks. The new model also has built-in GPS, while the original watch relies on the smartphone to which it is connected to track the route.

The rest of the characteristics of Realme Watch 2 Pro are fully consistent with Realme Watch 2. That is, the user will in any case receive heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking function, monitoring the level of oxygen in the blood, as well as a set of breathing exercises to relax and reduce stress levels. Now the smartwatch has 16 training modes, but in the near future Realme promises to release a software update that will increase the number of training sessions to 90.

The first country to launch the Realme Watch 2 Pro will be Malaysia. There they will go on sale from May 29 at a price of 299 ringgit, or about $ 70 at the exchange rate. There are two available body colors: dark gray and silver. To match them and silicone straps, available in black and light gray.
