In August last year, Xiaomi announced the Mi 10 Ultra, its first smartphone to support 120W fast charging. It would seem much more powerful, but today the Chinese company has introduced a new technology for charging mobile devices.
The latest HyperCharge fast charging solution increases wired charging power to 200W, allowing you to fully charge your smartphone in an average of 8 minutes. Xiaomi also introduced an advanced 120W wireless charging technology, thanks to which it takes just 15 minutes to fully charge a smartphone wirelessly.
If we talk about a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery, then thanks to the new 200 W Xiaomi technology, it can charge from 0 to 50% in just 3 minutes. At the same time, the new 120W wireless charging will allow you to charge a smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery from 0 to 10% in 1 minute, and from 0 to 50% in 7 minutes.
When Xiaomi plans to implement its new fast charging solutions in smartphones, the company did not elaborate. But I want to believe that we will see them in the flagship Mi and Redmi models until the end of 2021.
