It is interesting to know how our country develops (and develops if …) this direction. Unfortunately, until recently we were in the lowest positions in the use of artificial intelligence both in the service robotics and in the automotive industry. A similar state of affairs extends to the entire domestic industry and many specialists declare this. So, filed by IFR (International Federation of Robotics) agencies in Russia for 10 thousand employees accounts for only 3 robots. At the same time, for example, in South Korea, this figure is 630 robots

Nevertheless, since 2017 (when the relevant projects began to be implemented), the Russian robotics market demonstrates steady and quite active, and sometimes just a breakthrough growth. On average, the annual increase in robotics in 2018, 2019 and 2020, according to information provided by IFR, ranges from 60 to 84%! All this indicates the large prospects of industrial artificial intelligence in the country as a whole, and in the auto industry, in particular!

The leader in this direction, of course, is the Russian car giant KAMAZ. Back in 2015, the first unmanned truck was demonstrated at the landfill, and a little later, in 2017 on Innoprom — the Shatle unmanned bus!

The backlog, of course, is, but also for Russia there are all the chances of entering the group of world leaders in the introduction of AI in cars!
