Leak of the day: a new batch of renders and features of the Pixel 6

Internet giant Google is preparing to release the next generation of its reference smartphones. The Pixel 6, due out this fall, has been the subject of yet another leak.

Insiders have shared new renders of the base Pixel 6 model and revealed some of the specs. Judging by fresh images, the new flagship of Google will be equipped with a flat display that takes up almost the entire bezel. The insider claims that the screen measures 6.4 inches diagonally and has a built-in fingerprint reader, which means it will be an OLED panel. Above, you can see a round cutout for the front camera, the resolution of which is still unknown.

The Pixel 6 has a power key and volume rocker on the right side of the case, and a SIM card slot on the left. The USB Type-C port is flanked by two speaker grilles at the bottom. But there is no separate 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.

The thickness of the Pixel 6 body will be 8.9 mm or 11.8 mm, taking into account the protruding module of the main camera. It is also reported that the smartphone will receive support for wireless charging and will come with the latest Android 12 mobile operating system preinstalled on board.

With the Pixel 6 series still a few months away from launch, we expect more information to appear on the web.
