Moskvich 401 — the first folk car of the country of the Soviets

Our compatriots never missed at the invent of various nicknames, not only in relation to each other, but also, for example, cars. So: I did not have time to appear on the roads of the young country of the advice of the first folk car «Moskvich-401», as the car immediately gave the new name «Elephant»! Is it an offensive or vice versa, a sign of pride? Let’s deal with and find out what was able to conquer the Soviet citizens-motorists Moskvich-401.

For obvious reasons (they wanted to praise their engineers and designers), it was not written in the press and did not tell on the radio, but the fact remains.

No! Still, the difference was, and it is worth saying about it. On the German «Oplia», which killed on the roads of the country «Were Socialism,» the corresponding emblem was concerned!
