Samsung quietly announced its new mid-range tablet computer on the European market, rumors about which have been circulating for several weeks. True, the novelty is not called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + Lite, as insiders hinted earlier, but the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. In fact, this is a stripped-down version of the previously released flagship tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +.
The new Samsung tablet is equipped with a 12.4-inch LCD-display with a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels and is based on the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset. The company has a processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory expandable using a microSD memory card. The front of the tablet has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling, while the back has an 8-megapixel main one.
A 10,090 mAh rechargeable battery with fast charging function is responsible for the autonomy of the device. Using an optional 45W power adapter, it will take approximately 190 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 100%. The tablet is powered by the Android mobile operating system with Samsung’s proprietary shell on top.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is housed in a case 284.8 mm high, 185 mm wide and 6.3 mm thick. Weight including all the filling is 608 g. The S Pen stylus is included in the package.
The new tablet is already available for ordering on the official Samsung website in Germany. Prices start at € 649 for the base model without 5G support.
